Bio:
Jerry's addiction to racing adrenaline began in 1973, when, while driving a Blazer, of which was stock, and defeating a class of race Jeeps. This win inspired Jerry to modify that Blazer and proceed to take 4th in his first major race in 1979. With racing in his blood, Jerry built a new race Blazer for competition and won numerous races around the country. This led to his dominating of the short course racing in Colorado, Nebraska, and Kansas in the mid-80's.
Although Jerry has been away from the racing circuit for some years, he has never lost the need to compete. Jerry and his team have been racing a dual sport sandcar in the Sandcar Challenges of both Pomona, California and Casa Grande, Arizona. Daugherty Racing most recently brought home a 2nd Place finish in this event.
Jerry Daugherty has commissioned Revenge Racing Products of Phoenix, Arizona to build the Pro 4 Truck of which he will be racing in the first race in April.
